Product Basics
Essential information about your TE102 hearing aid
The TE102 is a digital RIC hearing aid featuring advanced digital signal processing, 50-channel WDRC (Wide Dynamic Range Compression), and 50 EQ channels. It's designed for people with mild to moderate-severe hearing loss.
Unlike simple amplifiers that boost all sounds equally, the TE102 intelligently processes different frequencies to provide clear, natural sound quality.
Getting started is easy:
- Charge the charging case fully
- Open the case lid and remove the hearing aids
- The aids will automatically power on and activate hearing mode in about 7 seconds
- Choose the right ear tips and wear them securely
- Start with Volume Level 1 and adjust gradually
Volume & Controls
How to adjust and control your hearing aid
The TE102 has 8 volume levels:
Level 1: 20dB | Level 2: 23dB | Level 3: 26dB | Level 4: 29dB
Level 5: 32dB | Level 6: 35dB | Level 7: 38dB | Level 8: 42dB
Default: Volume Level 1 (20dB) out of the box.
The charging case has 4 touch buttons below the screen:
- Left side (+/-): Controls left ear volume
- Right side (+/-): Controls right ear volume
When you change volume, you'll hear a "beep" confirmation sound, and the screen will display the current level. You can also adjust via the mobile app.
Long press any "+" button for 3 seconds to cycle through the 4 scene modes:
Each mode has a unique voice prompt when selected.
TV & Audio Connection
Connect your hearing aid to television and audio devices
Yes! The TE102 comes with the CJ-A01 TV Companion as standard. It uses low-latency wireless technology to transmit TV audio directly to your hearing aids with a range of up to 15 meters in open spaces.
When powered on, the hearing aids automatically search for Auracast broadcasts for 5 minutes. Once found, they'll automatically connect and you'll hear a "beep-beep-beep" confirmation sound.
It depends on your TV:
- If your TV supports Bluetooth: No TV Companion needed! Connect your hearing aids directly via Bluetooth.
- If your TV doesn't have Bluetooth: You'll need the TV Companion. Connect it to your TV with a cable, and it wirelessly transmits audio to your hearing aids.
- Alternative: You can also simply wear your hearing aids while watching TV without any special connection.
This depends on your TV's audio output settings. Most TVs stop external audio when connected to Bluetooth devices or a TV Companion.
Options for watching together:
- Check TV settings for "Simultaneous Audio Output" or similar options
- If not available, enable the TV Companion's microphone mode to pick up external sound

When connected, there are two types of sound:
🎬 TV Sound (Audio Stream)
The actual TV program audio
- Direct Bluetooth: Use TV/phone volume buttons only
- Via TV Companion: Use TV volume OR TV Companion +/- buttons
🗣️ Environmental Sound (Hearing Aid Volume)
Surrounding sounds and conversations
- Direct Bluetooth: Use hearing aid buttons or app (when TV is not playing)
- Via TV Companion: Turn off TV Companion first, then adjust
The TV Companion has its own power supply and continues broadcasting even when the TV is off. When the TV turns off, it stops sending audio to the TV Companion, but the Companion keeps transmitting "empty" signals.
What to do:
- To restore normal hearing: Turn off the TV Companion (or unplug it). The hearing aids will beep and automatically restore normal hearing mode.
- To continue watching: Simply turn the TV back on. Audio will resume automatically.
Bluetooth & App
